At Heritage Church, we consider reaching out to God's people to be our calling from God. Heritage has chosen three missions, one local, one national and one international, to support on a regular basis.

Heritage Mission Designations 2017

In reaching out to God’s people, Heritage has chosen five local, two international and one national mission to support in 2017.

Allied Partners of Madison: A group of local churches who support the Allied Drive Neighborhood and Food Pantry, as well as the summer lunch program for school children when school is not in session.

Jardin America, Argentina: Heritage congregation supports two children monthly through “loose change” collected during Sunday’s coffee hour.

Recycle the Warmth: The congregation collects for donation gently used bedding for the St. Vincent de Paul Ministry.

Giving Tree: During the Christmas season, the congregation donates mittens, hats, scarves and other appropriate items for warmth during the cold months.

Mission Mazahua: In one of the poorest areas of central Mexico, Mission Mazahua brings the gospel of Christ and provides social, economic and educational services to the Mazahua Indians. Heritage financially supports these efforts and several members annually travel to the Mission in the mountains of Central Mexico for a memorable, intensive week of Christian service, discussion, and fellowship.

Morgan/Scott Project for Cooperative Christian Concerns. This project addresses the needs of low income families in Scott and Morgan Counties in rural Tennessee. Heritage provides school supplies and collects financial donations for the project.

Meadowood Snack Packs: Heritage provides 70 healthy snack lunches for hungry students who visit the Meadowood Library after school. We are one of four churches participating monthly in this important local outreach.

Compassionate Ministry: To assist requests for temporary help, Heritage maintains a small fund to help people with dire needs: food, warm winter clothing, rent assistance, gas to get to work, and other daily living needs.
